What is the Refund Policy for Smokeball Spark?

The following refund policy applies to all tickets purchased for Smokeball Spark 2026. ‍

Full Refund: A full refund can be redeemed if the registered ticket holder/s lodges their refund request prior to 2nd December 2025.‍

Partial Refund: A 50% refund can be redeemed if the registered ticket holder/s lodges their refund request prior to 19th January 2026. ‍

Any claims made after the 19th January 2026 will be ineligible for a refund. ‍‍

Who Should Attend Smokeball Spark?

Smokeball Spark is designed for small-to-medium sized law practitioners. This conference is relevant to anyone within a small law firm including firm owners, lawyers, bookkeepers, or office managers. If you are unsure whether Smokeball Spark is for you, please contact us here.

How do I Lodge a Refund?

To lodge a refund request, please follow the below steps:

1. Locate your registration confirmation email by searching for the subject line "Registration Confirmed - Smokeball Spark 2026"

2. Once you have located your confirmation email, select the 'Modify Registration' button within the email

3. When prompted, input your confirmation number (also provided in the confirmation email)

4. Select 'cancel registration'

How do I register for sessions?

The 2026 Spark agenda will be published shortly, and session selection will be available from this point onwards. Once the agenda has been released, session selection will become a part of the event registration process and will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Any delegates who have registered prior to session selection becoming available will be notified via email and invited to book in their preferred sessions.

Can I still attend sessions if I haven't registered for them?

Smokeball event staff will be positioned outside breakout areas at the conference and will be scanning delegate lanyards to confirm that you have registered for the session. If you have not registered, you will be asked to wait until the beginning of the session and entry will be subject to availability. To ensure you are permitted to attend your preferred sessions, it is recommended that you register for them in advance to avoid missing out.

Is Spark a CPD accredited event?

Delegates who attend Smokeball Spark will be eligible to claim up to 5 CPD points if they attend the full day. Please note that the Law Society is not responsible for accrediting CPD activities on behalf of providers.  If this particular educational activity extends your knowledge and skills in areas that are relevant to your practice needs or professional development, then you should claim one (1) "unit” for each hour of attendance. Smokeball is not responsible for keeping track of individuals' attendance and acquired CPD points, and is also not responsible for dictating which CPD category you should claim your points under.

Will sessions be recorded?

Speaking sessions at Smokeball Spark will be recorded and the distribution of these sessions will subject to the permission of the presenter. Delegates will be provided with access to approved sessions on-demand following the conference for a limited time.

Will Smokeball Spark be live streamed?

There are currently no plans to live stream Smokeball Spark.

Is parking available at Smokeball Spark

There is no on-site parking available at ILUMINA, however various paid parking options are available within a close proximity including 52 Martin Place, Chifley Square and Hunter Street, Secure Parking at 1 Martin Place, and Wilson's Parking at 19/29 Martin Place.

Will I be able to attend if I experience a disability?
